I have been teaching for three years going on my fourth year and have taught Pre-K (2012-13), Kindergarten (2013-14), and now Third grade (2014-present). On the side I have been tutoring since my college days.

I have a Bachelors in Education / Urban Learning and a Masters in Education / Reading Literacy. 

Currently at my school we are under going the shift to Common Core with help and guidance of LMU/LA CMAST program. I am lucky to be one of four teachers who are leading the way to the shift to Common Core practices. I hope to help as many teachers as possible through this program and this blog.
