Jesus our Only Judge and Our Savior

We are almost at the end of ordinary time. For the past three weeks the readings in mass are about loving others as Jesus loves us and to follow his commandments. Also, to trust in God. The main idea of all the readings is for us to change our mind, heart, thoughts so we can be just like Jesus Christ.

YES, sometimes forgiving or loving someone that hurt you is hard or talking to someone that lied and destroyed you spiritually.

‘Then you question yourself.

What do I do?

Then what?

The answer is Jesus.

Us humans we search for love and happiness on people or material things and the answer is Jesus. Jesus is the only one that can give and fulfill that emptiness that we sometimes feel in our hearts. Sometimes people make empty promises and that hurts people. Also, people judge people wrongly and that hurts too. Jesus is the only person that could give us love, joy, peace and hope. When we have all of that we can share it with others and when you do not then we became empty and shallow like the rest of our population.

The question is what are you going to do?

we have a lot of violence and hate in our world. Therefore, we should do all tings with love so people can also find Jesus within us. Let’s give people words that transmit hope, wisdom and lets give love to the world.

I hope you enjoy this post.

Love,

Love

Through Mary and Jesus we learn what love is and how to love others.  Earlier this month I was talking with my sister and friend how our world is today. Our students are so involve in their own little world and they do not know how to interact with other people. Also, their parents are very busy working that there is no discipline. My friend made a good point that sometimes our students do not respect us because they do not know us but that is the same treatment that Jesus the son of God received. People did not respect him and in fact they talked bad about him. He won people over by teaching them as well as showing them how to love and respect others. Jesus showed others love, compassion, understanding, mercy etc. Therefore, us as educators and parents we need to teach our children to love by loving and respecting them.

We do have to remember that the most important thing that Jesus thought us is love.

Love is….

  1. Never about control or possession
  2. About saying sorry to the person you have hurt
  3. About vulnerability
  4. About trust
  5. Unconditional
  6. Changing

We should always remember to love others just like God loves us. God loves us no matter what we do or say. He forgives when we do wrong. His love is very big and it never ends.

The most important gift that we should all ask for is love, so our whole world can be different and all disasters can come to an end. We should nusrish that love we have for others.

How are you going to spread love this year?
